Shuson Kono (Japanese 1890-1987), ink on silk, a large set of four, landscapes, signed and with seal, image sizes approximately 175cm x 237 cm, framed (4)
Provenance: During his life Mr Kono was the head of the Japanese society of ink on silk artists and the current owner's father met him in Japan and subsequently took him around the world. The paintings were a gift from Mr Kono for the experience.

The one with swans and clouds has a stain to the top (see images) and minor tear to silk at bottom of the picture
One has 100x62cm tear to silk and this sam eone has a stain to the top (see images)
One with mountains has blue ink mark(see image) and other small stains around canvas
Sizes are approx. 175cm x 237cm
The frames appear to be painted wood
