edited by Thomas Speght, seventh edition, lacks portrait and title, replaced by divisional title, and 3U7 & 8 at end, large coat-of-arms on divisional title, large woodcut of the Knight, decorative initials, 4 holed with loss to a few words, D3 and 2P3 repaired, 3U1 margins torn, first few ff. little frayed, few other minor tears, early name at head of dedication, few ink marks & later pencil notes, bookplates on paste-down, extensive bibliographical notes on endpapers, some marking, contemporary blind-stamped calf, rubbed, rebacked, corners worn, later morocco spine-label, [Pforzheimer 178; STC 5080], folio, [Adam Islip], .
