For Bloomsbury Auctions, the progression from selling books and manuscripts to photographs has been a natural progression, embraced by our established clients and the new collectors we attract with each sale. Bloomsbury Photographs Department offers the history of the medium - from 19th century historic and documentary photographs, to the iconic images of the 20th century and large-scale contemporary art - at auction and select private sales. With a truly international presence through our offices in New York, London and Rome, the Photographs Department approaches this growing market from a global perspective.
The Photographs department is offering an unpaid 3 month internship starting at the beginning of March. The ideal candidate will be someone with an active interest in the photography world and market, is extremely organised, professional, and friendly and can commit to 4 days a week.
