We have been holding auctions of Hebraica & Judaica almost since our inception in 1983, with the sale of Manuscripts and Printed Books of Ralph & Phyllis Yablon achieving some amazing prices. Since then we have continued to sell important and scarce works either printed in Hebrew or of Jewish interest, such as the kabbalistic work Sepher Raziel Hamalach, 1701 (£2,400); Arthur Szyk's luxurious 1939 Haggadah (£18,000); Knorr's translation of the Kabbala denudata, 1677-84 (£4,000); a Megillah Esther in Ashkenazi script, c.1900 (£320); Cecil Roth's The Great Synagogue London 1690-1940, 1950 (£260); Isaiah Hurwitz's Sha'ar Hashamayim, 1717 (£5,200); Proop's Biblia. En dos Hebrayco y Espanol, 1762 (£1,200); and Issachar ber Ryback's Shtetl, 1923 (£1,600), to name but a few.
