Greene (Graham) The Name of Action, first edition, original cloth, corners and spine ends a little bumped, otherwise excellent, first issue dust-jacket with 7/6 to spine and review of The Man Within to lower panel, very slightly darkened at spine and margins, repairs and restorations to corners and spine ends, in effect an excellent copy, preserved in custom slip-case, 8vo, 1930.

Like Rumour at Nightfall (see next lot), Greene would later disown The Name of Action, making any edition of it published within his lifetime exceptionally scarce.
