Highsmith (Patricia) Strangers on a Train, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author to title, T.L.s. to Highsmith asking for inscription with Highsmith's autograph reply to foot, loosely inserted, original cloth, spine ends and corners a little bumped, slight yellowing to head and foot, dust-jacket, spine with usual fading, slight chipping and fraying to spine ends and corners, very light rubbing to extremities, still excellent, preserved in custom drop-back box, 8vo, New York, 1950.
