I think it is better than the others.' to endpaper, original patterned cloth, spine a little browned, spine ends and corners bumped, dust-jacket, slight browning to spine, minor repairs to spine ends and corners, light finger-soiling, but overall an excellent copy, preserved in custom drop-back box, 8vo, 1934.

An excellent copy of Waugh's masterpiece with a superb inscription. Arguably Waugh's greatest work, A Handful of Dust charts the breakdown of the marriage of Tony and Brenda Last; written whilst Waugh's own marriage was failing, it is also deeply personal.
