The Coronation of the Virgin, single leaf from a Book of Hours, illuminated manuscript on vellum, large miniature of the Virgin, kneeling before God seated on a throne hung and canopied with green material, who blesses her, while an angel leaning over a red and gold partition holds a crown over her head with a night sky behind, in an arched compartment, large initial ‘C’ below, in blue decoated with gold and white, and 5 lines of text, in a full panel border of foliage and flowers, in gold and colours, partly on a gold background, 16 lines of text on verso (ruled for 18), fore-edge with similar panel border, 5 initials and line-fillers in gold, red, blue and white, upper margin slightly trimmed, just touching top of panel and compartment, 158 x 110 mm., [ ?
