An album of views and a few figure studies, 58 subjects including a salt print of the Cashmere Gate, Delhi, views of Agra (13), Bombay, Delhi, Cawnpore, Lucknow, Benares (3, by Bourne), two (duplicate) views of Europeans on an elephant and 3 studies of trades from the Archaeological Survey of India, also 4 Ceylon subjects by Scowen (2 studies of trees, “A Sinhalese Girl” and “Buddhist Priests”), 9 views and figure studies in Egypt, some by Arnoux, and 3 views of Brindisi by Achille Mauri, in all 74 albumen prints and 1 salt print, average 205 x 270mm., mounted on both sides of card leaves, one with tear just affecting one image, majority titled in ink below, contemporary roan, edges rubbed, 4to (360 x 260mm.), majority 1860s-1880s.
