Rare. There are no recent auction records. The Oppenheimer collection had an imperfect copy of the 1808 edition, and another of 1823. This new version was presumably not written by the author of the original, and is similar in text and illustration to Mary Shelley's Mounseer Nongtongpaw (see Lot 62). Included with this copy is a slightly defective broadside with Taylor's original text, published by J. Pitts, c.1815.
