Scarce winner of the 1998 Sagitarius Prize (for best first novel by an author aged 60 or over), published by Bellew, which went bust 10 days after sending out review copies. The receivers sold the stock to a remainders firm who took the view that the title was unsaleable and pulped the edition. Very few copies appear to have survived.
