Scheduled to be published by Collins in 1920 but withdrawn by the author due to pressure from her mother & husband, this work was originally published by Doran using Collins’ sheets with tipped in title and then re-issued thus, in a print run of 2000 copies. The first UK edition did not appear until 1974.
