The inscription from Fleming is to Leonard [Russell], Travel editor of The Times , who had commissioned Fleming to do a tour of thirteen cities including Monte Carlo, Los Angeles, Tokyo & Hong Kong, the experiences of which Fleming described in his non-fiction work Thrilling Cities. Roger Moore’s inscription reads “Best wishes / Roger Moore / (Bond / Mark III) / Pinewood Studios / Nov.76”.
