Scarce. The article originally appeared in the Sitzungs-Berichte of the Würzburg Physical-Medical Society, to assure fast dissemination. Röntgen was the first to apply the term ‘X-Ray’, after observing the fluorescent reaction of barium platinocyanide crystals by then unknown rays in a Crookes vacuum tube.
