Calais Roll.- Hereafter followeth the names and armes of the Principall Captaines as well of Noblemen as of knights that were with the Victorious prince kinge Edward the thirde at the seige of Callis the 10th yeare of his reigne 1346..., manuscript, fine hand-coloured title-page with the arms of Edward III within the Garter and cartouche and 36pp., 112 coats of arms (4 to a page, 1 of Sir John Howarde hand-coloured), title slightly soiled, slightly browned throughout, later endpapers, 19th century tree calf, gilt stamps of the arms of the Dukes of Newcastle on both covers, modern slip-case, folio, [ late sixteenth century].
