“On board his M.S Victory mezzoschisto [?Mezzojuso, near Palermo] January 15th 1804. These are to certify... the State of health of His M.S. the Superb [commanded by Sir Richard Keats] arrived to day at this anchorage, I find the said Ship qualified to receive Pratique [licence to enter port with the assurance the ship is free of contagious disease] Nelson & Bronte.”
