Valturius (Robertus) De re Militari, woodcut printer’s device to title and verso of final f., numerous fine woodcut illustrations, many full-page, lacks Dd3, T6 with clean tear within text, some light browning, a few small marginal stains towards end, contemporary blind-stamped calf, metal clasps, lacking leather thongs, sympathetically rebacked, corners a little worn, boards rubbed, [Adams V225; Mortimer, French 536; cf.Cockle 501], folio, Paris, Christian Wechel, 1535 [colophon dated 1534].
