Anville (Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d') Composite atlas, 35 maps sheets to form 20 maps, including the Première, Seconde, and Troisième parties de la Carte de l’Europe, the Première, Seconde and Troisième parties de la Carte de l’Asie, Carte de l’Inde, Afrique, Amérique Septentrionale, Amérique Méridionale, Canada, Louisiane et Terres Angloises, Carte de la Louisiane, and others, 35 double-page map sheets, all but five with original hand-colouring in outline, eight larger ones of 2 sheets joined with additional folds, generally in good condition, the first with slight surface dust, the second with a repaired tear into the map, Louisiana with a small repair within a blank area, Orbis Veteribus Notus with a short split on a horizontal fold near the upper sheet edge, minor dampstaining to lower corners of most sheets, not affecting maps, full calf, rubbed, slightly sunned, spine gilt-tooled, gilt armorial on upper board, folio, 1743-1764.
