Pierre-Jean Amar collaborated with the photographer on four portfolios between 1985-2003 surveying the career of Willy Ronis. PJ Amar is both a photographer and the Artistic Director of a cultural association in Aix-en-Provence. He has also lectured in the history of photography for 28 years at the University of Aix-en-Provence.
