Marigold Armitage was the daughter of Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris, and lived in Ireland for 15 years. Her two novels were written about post-war life there amongst the hunting fraternity, published in 1952 and 1961, and republished in 1989 and 1990. “A Run for my Money “ appears to be an unfinished sequel. The translation of “Cirano de Bergerac” appears to have been prepared for use by B.B.C. in the 1960’s.
