St.John Hornby was commissioned to print a miniature book for the library of Queen Mary’s Dolls House. This was printed in 1923 from photographically-reduced plates of the Carmina Sapphica . As the Bromers state in the prospectus to their facsimile edition, “Fewer than ten copies of the book were ever known; of these, probably less than five survive.”
