59. Sinatra (Frank) An unreleased recording of a live concert performance, on two single-sided 12 inch lp records, manuscript titles, in sleeve date-stamped 3DEC1958.
est. £100 – £150
The concert was performed in Monte Carlo at a charity premier of the film “Kings Go Forth”, starring Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, and Natalie Wood. The introduction by Noel Coward is followed by Sinatra singing thirteen songs backed by a large orchestra conducted by Richard Jones, some towards the end interspersed with comments by the singer. A stamp on the sleeve reads “Rejected technically”, possibly because of the quality of the recording of the orchestra. An audio tape of the records is included in the lot.
