Wilde (Oscar) A House of Pomegranates, first edition , [one of 1000 copies], 4 plates by Charles H.Shannon, woodcut title, decorations and patterned endpapers by Charles Ricketts, original cloth comprising green spine and off-white covers decorated in red & gilt, spine lettered in gilt, rubbed at lower corners, darkened at upper fore-corners, [Mason 347], small 4to, 1891.

This is one of Ricketts & Shannon’s early collaborations, before they went on to form the Vale Press in 1896.
