Red Cross in WWI.- Fletcher (Frances Du Puy, volunteer nurse) Album of photographs and ephemera relating to Fletcher’s work as a Red Cross nurse in England and France, c. 200 items including photographs, postcards and ephemera, on 52pp., photographs, including: hospitals, wards, wounded (including 1 wounded man being bathed), mostly in France, ephemera, including: official war propaganda, documents, letters (some official, some from an American training with the RAF at Catterick 1918, a few with America Expeditionary Forces letterhead), pamphlets, many relating to the raising of funds for the war effort, broadsides and flyers (a French Red Cross ship to be sent to the Dardanelles etc.), most tipped-in, some loose, later morocco-backed cloth, oblong 4to, 1916-18.
