Sims & Co after the register plan. I am to request you will be pleased to give the necessary Instructions to the Captain of any of His Majesty’s Ships which may be supplied with the said Cable to report the strength and wear thereof (when compared with other Cables)…”, folds, browned and stained with some loss of text (date), extensive repaired to edges.
