Ruskin (John, writer and critic, 1819-1900) Autograph Letter signed Mrs Simon, wife of Sir John Simon, 2pp., 8vo, n.p., n.d., [before 1862] “I do read your letters, but when you only out of all that exhibition like ‘two of Bretts and two of Inchbolds’ - say nothing of Hughes - and mince it all up with Kingsley and the 65 new Turners - how do you expect me to remember you have seen them…” and a reference to Elizabeth Siddal, “Nobody is coming tomorrow (Miss Siddal is not well.) so you will have the field to yourselves”, folds, margins slightly browned.
