This edition has a new preface signed with the initials J.D. The illustrations are described as "a new sett of cuts", and appear to be metal rather than wood. According to a note by the owner, this copy was purchased at a furniture auction in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1958. Only one earlier copy appears to have sold within recent years.
