469. Houdini (Beatrice).- A yew walking cane, the silver knob decorated with a continuous scene with Chinese figures, the top surface with the engraved inscription “Beatrice Houdini to Edw. Saint”, overall length 868mm., maximum diameter of the top 42mm.

Edward Saint was Beatrice Houdini’s manager after the death of Harry Houdini. They formed a close relationship, sharing a small bungalow in Hollywood. They were both involved in the final Houdini séance held in October 1936, with Edward Saint taking cgarge of the proceedings.
